Gamecheck is heading to SBC Summit Malta 2026

SBC Summit Malta 2026 is one of those events where the industry conversation for the coming years gets set. This year's theme is ‘The Future of Play’, and Gamecheck is heading to Malta, because as far as we're concerned, the future of play has to be the future of fair play. We'll be on the exhibition floor, and the timing couldn't be better.

The summit runs from 28-30 April 2026 at the InterContinental Hotel Malta in St Julian's. Around 6,000 iGaming professionals will be there: operators, game providers, affiliates, regulators, fintech companies, and more. It's one of the most commercially concentrated gatherings on the European iGaming calendar and for good reason.

Malta is home to more than 350 MGA-licensed companies, making it a central hub for the iGaming industry and the natural place for the industry's most important conversations to happen. We're going because you cannot talk about the future of play without talking about the risks of fake games.

Why this summit matters right now

European iGaming has spent the last decade expanding. The focus now is changing from growth at all costs to sustainable growth that operators and players can actually trust. You see it in the conference programme. You see it in which exhibitors are drawing the most interest. Integrity, transparency, and player protection aren't compliance boxes to tick. They're becoming the conditions for staying in the market at all. That's the conversation Gamecheck was built for.

When a game behaves strangely - pay-out patterns don't match the published return-to-player rate, mechanics that feel off - players have historically had no way to verify what they're actually looking at. Walking away is often the only option, and that's not a good outcome for a legitimate operator.

The Gamecheck SEAL gives legitimate operators a clear, visible signal that their platform offers real games sourced and checked by the original game providers.

The Gamecheck app gives players a straightforward way to check whether the games they're playing are real. We'll be demonstrating exactly how both work at Booth B76.

What's on the agenda

The event opens on Tuesday, 28 April with exhibition set-up running from 12:00 to 20:00. Badge collection is open from 12:00 to 17:00 for early arrivals, and the evening ends with a welcome networking reception, which is always a great opportunity to connect with the participants before the main programme begins.

Wednesday, 29 April is the first full conference day. Keynotes will focus on European market strategy and the road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with panels covering compliance frameworks, player acquisition, and product development. There are dedicated tracks across marketing, operations, and technology running throughout the day. The evening closes with a networking party at an exclusive venue.

Thursday, 30 April brings a different rhythm. The morning and afternoon are given over to hands-on workshop rooms, smaller sessions designed to turn conference insights into practical frameworks, alongside responsible gambling sessions and final partnership meetings. The SBC Awards Europe 2026 Ceremony takes place in the evening, followed by the SBC Summit Malta Closing Party before the exhibition closes.

Who attends and why this is the right event

The attendee list tells you a lot about what kind of event this is.

Operators make up nearly half the audience - online casino and sportsbook businesses navigating regulatory pressure, competitive markets, and growing player expectations around fairness. Game providers are there to protect their intellectual property and ensure their real titles reach players through legitimate channels. Affiliates and marketing leads come to understand the player acquisition landscape. Fintech companies, AI specialists, and compliance providers make up the technology contingent. Regulators attend to engage directly with the industry on policy.

At SBC Summit Malta, the integrity discussion is practical. The people raising it are the same people accountable for the outcomes. That's exactly the conversation Gamecheck is there to be part of. Fake games are the problem. The Gamecheck SEAL is the solution.

Tips for getting the most out of the event

If you're attending, a few practical points worth knowing.

The venue is the InterContinental Hotel Malta which means the conference, exhibition, and accommodation are all in the same building. That removes the daily travel and commuting that can eat into your schedule at larger events, but it also means the exhibition floor stays busy throughout. If you have specific meetings to get to, the SBC Connect app is the most reliable way to manage your schedule: you can find attendees in the directory, send meeting requests directly, and keep everything in one place.

Schedule your key meetings in advance. The two conference days move quickly. The welcome reception on Tuesday is genuinely worth attending - it's relaxed, and the people there are usually looking for real conversations.

The venue is a 20-minute taxi ride from Malta International Airport. St Julian's has plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, so it's easy to carry on conversations away from the conference floor once the official programme ends.

For accommodation, the InterContinental Malta offers discounted rates for event attendees booked directly. Availability fills fast, if you haven't booked yet, do it now.

Come and find us at Booth B76

The Gamecheck team will be on the exhibition floor on both conference days.

Come to Booth B76 for a live demo of the Gamecheck SEAL - the verification mark that tells players that a selection of games has been checked and confirmed as real. We'll show you how it works, and what it means for your platform.

If you'd like to set up a meeting in advance, reach out to us at sales@gamecheck.com. You can also find us in the SBC Connect app and send a meeting request directly.

If you're not attending - download the app now

Not going to Malta? That's not a reason to wait.

The Gamecheck app is free to download on iOS and Android. Run your first check before we land. If you've ever seen a game behave strangely and had no way to verify it - a spin that didn't work right, a bonus that didn't behave the way the rules said it would, that's exactly what the app was built for.

Whether you're joining us in Malta or downloading the app from home, the goal is the same - verified games, trusted play. You don't need to be at the conference to start playing on verified games. Download the app, run a check, and know what you're actually looking at.

If you're in Malta, come and find us. Booth B76 is where the conversation starts.
